  1. 01Open claude.ai, click your account, then Settings.
  2. 02Open Customize, then Connectors. (Team and Enterprise: an Owner does this once under Organization settings instead.)
  3. 03Click Add custom connector, paste the endpoint URL as the remote MCP server URL, and name it "connacto".
  4. 04Click Add. Team and Enterprise members then open Customize, then Connectors, find connacto, and click Connect.
  5. 05Open a chat, click the tools icon, and turn the connacto connector on.

Free plan allows one custom connector; Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise have no set limit. Claude reaches your server from Anthropic's cloud infrastructure, not your device, so it must be reachable over the public internet.
